Started folklorico classes as the first underage member of an all adult group in Cobb County in 2012 where she participated as an extracurricular activity during HS and College years for a total of six years.
After completing a bachelors degree in Cultural Anthropology at Georgia State University, she decided to pick up the passion once again in 2021 by participating in an online hybrid course with la Escuela del Ballet Folklorico de Mexico de Amalia Hernandez which ended in June of that year. After visiting the school in Mexico City and meeting with the director she decided to study danza folklorica mexicana full time and moved in July 2022 to pursue a three-year program.
During the “carrera de bailarín profesional” three-year program, she received training in the following dance styles:
Bailes de Salon
Tecnica y Repertorio de Danza Folklorica Mexicana
Ballet Clásico nivel 1, 2, 3
Danza Afro
Danza Contemporánea
Jazz, Heels y Burlesque (Neo y Clásico)
After graduating in July 2025 she added a Diplomado en Pedagogía de Danza Folklorica Mexicana to her studies and gave her first 6-day introductory course in October 2025 to a group of 27 students.
She currently lives in Atlanta offering folklorico classes, teaches ESL online, gives tour guides in CDMX and enjoys creating content for social media.
